The company is looking for a Financial Planner for their New York City location.
Position Responsibilities
•Collaborate with President to strategize business growth initiatives, and work with sales team and customers to get results
•Partner with wholesale and retail teams to unearth opportunities and initiate strategies to drive sales and profit
•Analyze various reports, determine validity of data and provide supporting explanations of conclusions reached
•Access data from multiple systems, prepare schedules in a presentable format
•Utilize data to project future short and long term scenarios and anticipated results
•Compile databases and formulate spreadsheets
•Conduct or coordinate research and/or special studies
•Prepare Excel models for shortterm projections
•Perform analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and write narrative reports explaining findings when needed
•Assist in special projects
•Manage reporting and analysis of the replenishment business in order to maximize sales and stock optimization

Ideal Skills & Experience:

•Bachelor’sDegree
•Minimum four years retail or wholesale experience
•Excellent written and oral communication, teamwork, presentation, analytical and strategic thinking skills
•Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, influence and report on business with cross-functional teams and management
•Demonstrated experience articulating complex financial data into simple and clear reports and leverage analysis for strategic recommendations
•Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, multi-tasker, results driven leader
•Excellent attitude, ability to perform under pressure and be flexible
•Clear understanding of retail math and financial measurements which include: sales, gross margin, GMROI, weeks on hand, etc. and how to positively impact those metrics – cost accounting a plus
•Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AS
•AS400 a plus
