As a designer from the mid-west, I firmly believe that fashion should meet both aesthetic and
functional requirements. Historically, this has been a core subject in design theory and practice. I
prefer to bring this language to the fashion world. A sort of \'Everything serves a purpose,\' mentality. My style is a balance of comfortable everyday with luxe quality. I want people who wear my clothing to feel it suits them in a cozy, recognizable way. I love the intimacy people share with their wardrobe. It allows for blending practical life with desirable style. Music and film constantly impact my designs as well. I find a certain comfort when something sounds right or looks beautiful—it\'s influence is personal.
