WORK EXPERIENCE:
January – February 2010 Theory, New York
Design Intern, Women’s Wear Woven Department (Woven)
Attended weekly fittings. Corrected specs, flat sketches and line sheets. Tracked sample prototypes, in BMS (Bridge Management System). Prepared the presentation boards and the showroom. Corrected samples and sew trims. Photographed garments for designer records.

February – June 2009 Kardem, Istanbul
Design Intern, Design Department (Knit and Woven)
Designed three garments. During the production and design process: Utilized Gerber Input Digitizer. Worked with the head of the sample room to create patterns and analyzed fabrics and trims. Attended weekly fittings and made corrections. Joined the design process meetings with the head designer. Developed presentation skills by preparing color boards, mood boards and inspiration charts.

May – June 2008 Erak Textile (Mavi Jeans), Istanbul
Design Intern, Design Department (Denim)
Worked with the head designer learning denim washes and design process of jeans. Researched creative concepts for the designer assistant. Prepared presentation boards and toys. Prepared the showroom for meetings. Kept track of the samples. Photographed garments for the designer records. Improved print design knowledge by working with the designer assistant.

April - May 2008 Koton, Guest Designer, Istanbul
Designed a mini collection for Istanbul Fashion Bridge exhibition. During design process assisted chef tailors, learned skills of draping, fitting and sewing.

Fashion illustration and presentation, flat sketching strong taste level and color sense, good sense for prints, patterns and details.
Pattern Cutting, Draping & Sewing: Ability to produce a 3-D prototype garment through methods of 2-D and 3-D technical garment development.
