DESIGNER
-Established style and direction by visiting art museums, browsing libraries, travel, and researching current trends and concepts online.

-Rendered and stylized collection through fashion illustration, using both traditional methods and computer illustration.

-Attended industry trade shows such as Magic, and WWD Magicin Las Vegas for sourcing needs and networking.

-Utilized draping and flat patternmaking to create first patterns and designer mock-ups.

-Fitted mock-ups to live model sand revised and adjusted patterns where needed in preparation for final patterns.

-Sold collection in specialty boutique Koo De Ker, along with leading labels such as BCBG, Ben Sherman, and Juicy Couture.

-Launched online store to reach more national and international customers.

-Presented collection at local fashion shows on several occasions.

DESIGN ASSISTANT
-Worked directly with Miki Fukai and design team to create her spring 2005 collection for London Fashion Week.

-Responsibilities included pattern cutting, sample sewing, sourcing errands, and back stage help at fashion show.

-Assisted Savile Row designer Richard James and design team with various design room responsibilities. Duties included assembling line boards, organizing swatch books, and customer service on sales floor.

-Worked with Shah Safari design team to prepare flat sketches, presentation boards, and design packages.

-Also assisted in fitting sessions, and made corrections to design packages, and assessed accuracy of colour lab dips.
