For my six week collection, I was heavily inspired by the fashions of the Renaissance as well as high fashion trends off the runway. Some of my designs were also inspired by the designs from the 2018 Met Gala.

For this collection, I was inspired by the Renaissance exhibit in the North Carolina Museum of Art. I borrowed some ideas from paintings of Renaissance women. I have also inspired/ borrowed ideas from Dolce and Gabbana and their Renaissance looks.

I chose to present my designs in a collage style layout. I thought this fit the style of my collection best because it has a very simplistic background to contrast from my bold designs.
