2016 office wear collection for ODEL under the brand label CLOSET. This was inspired by geometric shapes, color block crisp lines,etc.I have used houndstooth, chalk stripe. birds’ eye, herringbone, windowpane & glen check in this collection.

This is inspired by Russian folk Khokhloma painting, as well as Sri Lankan traditional batik techniques.This collection is a riot of pop-up complementary color combinations. Batik placement designs are dyed on the white silk fabric.

As a multifaceted fashion professional and an entrepreneur, I have been exposed to a number of aspects of the fashion world. My experience of producing Seasonal collections and simultaneously developing multiple ready to wear lines demonstrates my multitasking and capability of teamwork through the creative process of production while overcoming the challenges. I have been commended on my ability to create masterpieces from mere sketching as well as CAD software. Having work in the retail industry I expertise in garment development processes such as merchandising, sourcing, costing, pattern-making, stitching QC, visual merchandising, etc.

In addition to this, my profound knowledge of color, silhouette, texture and harmonizing it helped me winning Designer of the year “Defile’ de’ mode’ 13”.
